Gudrun Rienhardt (1959)
The magic of childhood. There are short scenes, yes moments only, which Gudrun Rienhardt forms here: Children who experience a carefree, even fully happy moment. Born in 1959 in Ludwigsburg, she is a sculptor who enjoyed her training at the European Academy of Fine Arts in Trier, perhaps she illustrated her own childhood in her work. However, their artistic look makes universal scenes which lead the viewers mind to recollect memories of the happiness of short, perhaps only seconds-long moments. Blessed is he who can perceive such moments and call upon them in less happy times. Gudrun Rienhardt lives and works in the old mill in Winzerdorf Hainfeld, where she created a year-round public sculpture park called "Hummelaue". Her extensive work has been recognized through numerous exhibitions.
