Kuczynska has won a large number of prizes in the course of her many years of artistic work. As early as 1979, she was awarded the Grand Prix at the International Ceramic Art Competition, the Berlin Academy of Arts awarded her the Daniel Chodowiecki Prize (donated by Günter Grass) in 1994 and in 2001, she received the famous Prix Bourdelle.
