Bronze sculpture details
By playing with proportions, through elongation and stretching, movement is created within the shape. Tension arises through the contrast between the stable shape and the moving figure.
Edition in bronze, cast using the lost wax technique, chased and patinated by hand.
From 1986 to 1989, Anette Mürdter visited the professional class "free ceramic" from D. Várkonyi and afterwards studied sculpture and ceramics at the "State Academy of Fine Arts" (Staatlichen Akademie der Bildenden Künste) in Stuttgart under the tutelage of Karl-Henning Seemann and Giuseppe Spagnulo.
