Bronze sculpture details
The figure of a woman that could certainly be described as curvaceous – a Venus of Willendorf carried into the present, sitting, as it were, on the ground and exuding peace and calm.
Edition in bronze, cast using the lost wax technique, chased and patinated by hand.
From 1986 to 1989, Anette Mürdter visited the professional class "free ceramic" from D. Várkonyi and afterwards studied sculpture and ceramics at the "State Academy of Fine Arts" (Staatlichen Akademie der Bildenden Künste) in Stuttgart under the tutelage of Karl-Henning Seemann and Giuseppe Spagnulo.
