"Going" is part of a series that has been realized by the artist in different variations since 2008: Sculptures in human form which also consists of numerous small human figures .
"Going" consists of 980 male and female figures in three different sizes. The effect is impressive as Trpak realizes a topic that usually can only be illustrated in an abstract think tank: He shows the individual as part of a whole, the person as element of a society, which he develops himself and which concurrently forms him. We might proceed as individuals, but "real" progress can only be achieved when humanity unites.
This sculpture consists of 980 figures in total, including:
133 male figures (approx. 11 cm tall)
135 female figures (approx. 11 cm tall)
233 male figures (approx. 10 cm tall)
263 female figures (approx. 10 cm tall)
109 male figures (approx. 8 cm tall)
107 female figures (approx. 8 cm tall
