The adult is vaulting on horseback – earnestly and highly concentrated – but the horse is a rocking horse! The fundamental child-like delight in movement and momentum is hard to preserve through to adult life – My object combines the child-like with that which is grown-up.

Edition in bronze, cast using the lost wax technique, chased and patinated by hand.
