Bronze sculpture details
“Fugit irreparabile tempus” writes Virgil, “time flies irretrievably”. Bucci is more optimistic: he has it continuously advancing with elegant, prancing steps.
Edition in bronze, cast using the lost wax technique, chased and patinated by hand.
Andrea Bucci is an architecture graduate and worked as such for a number of years. He taught himself the art of sculpture ‑ albeit one who was familiar with artistic work of all kinds from childhood, since Bucci is the son of an artist and spent uncounted hours in his father's studio as a child.
