Andrea Bucci (1966)
Andrea Bucci is an architecture graduate and worked as such for a number of years. He taught himself the art of sculpture ‑ albeit one who was familiar with artistic work of all kinds from childhood, since Bucci is the son of an artist and spent uncounted hours in his father's studio as a child. Since he gave up architecture to devote himself exclusively to his artistic work, an extensive oeuvre has grown up which is found in private and public collections at home and abroad; commissions of works for public spaces have taken him as far as China in the Far East. Today he lives and works in Lucca, Tuscany, where he exhibits his works in his own private gallery and explains them to customers interested in art.
