“Photo-opportunity” is what Psotková calls her trio of masks from 2005. If you put them together, the deep green patinated faces enter immediately into a silent dialogue. Moreover, they can be taken out of their bases – and then, in the hand of the beholder, completely turn into a mask theatre just waiting for someone to write some lines for it.
Edition in bronze, cast using the lost wax technique, chased and patinated by hand.
Veronika Psotková studied art education in Olomous in the Czech Republic and sculpture at the University of Brno with a prize-winning final project.
