Bronze sculpture details
It is still warm. The fruits are ripening and the year’s labour is finding its reward. Contentedness is mingled with melancholy. The slanting sunbeams make the light colourful and announce colder days.
Edition in bronze, cast using the lost wax technique, chased and patinated by hand.

Romano Cosci studied in Pietrasanta, near the famous marble quarries of Carrara (from Ferruccio Vezzoni) and sculptures (from Leonidas Parma). As a painter and as a sculptor, he always remained committed to the old masters and found his life's theme in religious art. Many of his frescoes decorate churches throughout Italy.
