Flora
Bronze sculpture details
A theme could hardly be more classical: Pawel Andryszewski dedicates his "Flora" to the beginning of spring and thus, not only in gardening terms, to the newly awakening life in general. His Flora, however, is not an ancient goddess scattering a multitude of blossoms from her basket into the landscape, but a young girl carrying the seed of young life in her hands - the beginning of everything.
Edition in bronze, cast using the lost wax technique, chased and patinated by hand. Limited to 49 numbered and signed copies.
