It is springtime nature itself that is celebrated here in Pawel Andryszewski's new work. Andryszewski shows it in the form of a young woman enjoying the first warm days of the year. She has turned her lightly clad body towards the warming sun and is shaking out her hair, which is streaked with buds and leaves.
Edition in bronze, cast using the lost wax technique, chased and patinated by hand. Limited to 49 numbered and signed copies.
Pawel Andryszewski was born in Poznan and attended the local "State Secondary School of Fine Arts" (Staatliche Oberschule für Bildende Künste) from 1978 to 1984. He continued with a study of painting, graphics and sculpture at the Art Academy Poznan from 1984-1990.
