Bronze sculpture details
The legs, one hand, and one arm are already protruding from the masonry: the desire for freedom is stronger than the constraints surrounding a person.
Edition in bronze, cast using the lost wax technique, chased and patinated by hand.
Istvan Herold studied sculpture at the Hungarian University of Fine Arts in Budapest in the 1970s. Since 1982, he has been living in Austria. Since the turn of the millennium, he has been (again) working as an artist and has appeared as a draftsman as well as a sculptor.
