Ingo Koblischek was born in Bohemia/Moravia in 1933 and grew up there until he fled in 1945. This childhood close to nature and also the fact that he first completed a commercial apprenticeship in the post-war years, working simultaneously in agriculture, appears to be not entirely insignificant for his later art.
