Bronze sculpture details
"It is said that behind every successful man there is a strong woman...together they form a whole. I have dealt with this topic while creating this sculpture, leaving it to the viewer in which direction his fantasy leads him. Whether ironic or erotic - love can become a sweet burden". (Hans Neuwirth)
Edition in bronze, cast using the lost wax technique, chased and patinated by hand.
After completing a "stone sculptor apprenticeship with a master's degree" (Steinbildhauerlehre mit Meistergrad) and gaining several years of experience in the parental stone mason firm, Hans Neuwirth studied operation at the "advanced technical college" (Fachhochschule) for design in Schwäbisch Gmünd, under the tutelage of Fritz Nuss from 1966 to 1973.
