Bronze sculpture details
A typical hand movement: a raccoon knows how to use its five long fingers dexterously.
The Raccoon, with its deft head and hands is quite a skillful and, if we can believe ethologists, also an inordinately intelligent animal. In its home in America, the indigenous natives even attributed magical powers to it. By the way, the cute little creature is closer related to dogs than bears. And the idea that it “washes” its food has more to do with anthropomorphic projection than with reality.
Edition in bronze, cast using the lost wax technique, chased and patinated by hand.
We present exclusive bronze art from the "Strassacker Studio" made by our modellers , cast with the same care and workmanship as the limited editions. However, they are not limited with a few exceptions and thus we can offer them at significantly lower prices.
