Bronze sculpture details
The otter is a lovely, downright elegant animal. It is of a beauty that has its origin in the efficacy of evolution. The streamlined body of the animal is perfectly adapted to gliding swiftly and skilfully through the water. And thus his habitat is also near water, whether river, brook or lake. The traditional habitat of the two fine bronze specimens below would be a garden pond, where we can enjoy looking at them without having to fear for the fish – and if a "real" otter should come along, this will send a signal, as the rabbit once did to the hedgehog, "I'm already here!"
Edition in bronze, cast using the lost wax technique, chased and patinated by hand.
We present exclusive bronze art from the "Strassacker Studio" made by our modellers , cast with the same care and workmanship as the limited editions. However, they are not limited and thus we can offer them at significantly lower prices.
