Frühling
Bronze sculpture details
Woytek's sculptures "Frühling", "Sommer" and "Herbst" deal with much shorter periods of time. The artist gives the seasons a hybrid human and floral shape. They do not only depict the seasons, but rather invite the viewer to make free associations - when it appears as if a sprout is coming out of the sculpture "Frühling" and the figure of "Herbst" reminds you of autumn storms. This is the reason why they do not necessarily need to be understood as a cycle, as every single sculpture stands for itself in its own strong expressiveness.
Edition in bronze, cast using the lost wax technique, chased and patinated by hand.
Also available as a set!
