Due to the size of exhibition space and the number of sculptures exhibited, the 7th annual Art in the City is probably the biggest show of monumental, contemporary Czech sculpture in the open air. The square, streets and corners of the city of Ceské Budejovice and Hluboká nad Vltavou and the golf course in Hluboká serve as the exhibition venue. It’s primarily about objects of monumental proportions, but the exhibited works also include smaller ones, curios and artifacts that glimmer and change color. The exhibition is accompanied by a series of lectures and concerts.
