Bronze sculpture details
The “Lesende” (Reader) combines sculpture and book. Between the pedestal with the inscription: “Anna Amalia Bibliothek” and the likeness of the reader is an old original volume with a size of approx. 5 x 40 x 27 cm (the book is one of a kind, therefore the supplied artwork differs slightly from the picture). With the purchase of the “Lesende” you will support the library’s continuing book restoration work with a sum of € 750.
Edition in bronze, cast using the lost wax technique, chased and patinated by hand.
