Bronze sculpture details
“In the sculpture: “Zeitschläger” I addressed space, time and the nature of man. The sculpture depicts a forward moving figure on its journey through life. Its large feet and oversized tool-like hands tell a story of burden and experience. It must have had an eventful life. Nevertheless, the figure is moving forward step by step. It carries its hands and their history into the future and leaves the past behind.”
Edition in bronze, cast using the lost wax technique, chased and patinated by hand.
